Clear Away the Clutter Read-a-thon Wrap-up

Today is day 7, and the last day, of the Clear Away the Clutter Read-a-thon hosted by Kate @ The Neverending Shelf. The idea was to read as many hours as you could, to help cut back your TBR pile. Everyone had their own goal – mine was to just read as much as possible in the time that I had available.

Throughout the week I managed to get a bit of reading done, write some reviews and take part in the daily activities. Today’s activity is the last.

Activity: The Final Stretch
Host: Kate @ The Neverending Shelf.

Goals:

Activity 7 – choice 1: For this activity, all you need to do is visit my Neverending Reads page and recommend a title by submitting the book’s information to my form. It can be a Stand Along Book or a Book in a Series… or if you are feeling generous, one of each. Once you have completed this activity, please leave a comment on this post. Since the form does not ask for the name of the submitter, every one is on the honor system.

Activity 7 – choice 1
I suggested the book Awake and Dreaming by Kit Pearson to the list of stand alone novels.

Activity 7 – choice 2: What is a Read-A-Thon without a wrap-up post? So, since this is the final day of the Read-A-Thon, all you need to do for this option is create a post telling us how you did. You can include how many books you read, any blogs that you were introduced to, how you cleaned away the clutter… the choice is yours. Once the post as been completed, just leave a link to your actual post in Mr. Linky.

Activity 7 – choice 2

HOURS SPENT READING
I spent approximately 17.5 hours reading, which is actually pretty good since I worked two 8-hour shifts and spent almost all of Friday out of the house on a shopping day with my mother, as well as seeing two movies this week, and going out to supper twice with friends (of course I’d pick during the read-a-thon to be social).

  1. I didn’t keep track of my hours read but I finished 6 books. I love all Kit Pearson books, including Awake and Dreaming!
