inkpop: writing contest

Inkpop, the HarperCollins writing website, is hosting an amazing contest!

From the site:

“Have you always dreamed of being published in a book? Here is your chance. Reimagine a scene or act of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream from the perspective of the lovers, tricksters, or the faerie royalty—Hermia, Helena, Lysander, Demetrius, Titania, or Puck—and enter for your chance to be published.

Twenty of the highest ranked entries in the Your Midsummer Night’s Dream will be reviewed by a HarperCollins editor. Five of the top twenty entries will be selected by a HarperCollins editor as a top projects and will be considered for publication in A Midsummer Night’s Dream published by HarperTeen in September 2011.”

Check out the contest website for further details on guidelines and how to enter.

  1. Just a reminder that the Chick Loves Lit Blogoversary Carnival that you signed up for is Tuesday (March 15)! Please try to have your post up at midnight EST on March 15. I will have a linky on my blog that day where you can link your specific giveaway post URL for all the visitors!

When you post please include the Carnival graphic (from my blog) and a link back so everyone can find the rest of the giveaways. If you have any other questions please let me know – and thank you for celebrating with me!
