It’s 1996, and less than half of all American high school students have ever used the Internet.

Emma just got her first computer and an America Online CD-ROM.

Josh is her best friend. They power up and log on–and discover themselves on Facebook, fifteen years in the future.

Everybody wonders what their Destiny will be. Josh and Emma are about to find out.

  1. Ooh, this sounds goooood. I totally snickered when I read “American Online CD.” I remember getting those in the mail by the handful and making sparkly mobiles out of them.

It’s an interesting question–what would the pioneering teens of just a few years ago think if they could see what the internet would evolve into.

Thanks for the rec. I’m definitely going to be picking this one up, too!

    Smiles!
    Lori
