Tonight was the book launch for Kat Kruger’s debut novel The Night Has Teeth, at a beautiful little coffee shop. So with caffeine in hand and tables full of candy sushi to be had, the beginning of the evening was looking like this was going to be a fun event!
The first bit of the evening was social, with everyone talking, mingling and eating the awesome candy sushi. Kat followed up with a reading, one of my favourite scenes from the book where the main characters are traversing the catacombs under the city to find an elusive midnight party. After the reading, Kat took time to sign copies of the book, and I took time to catch up with Colleen from Lavender Lines and co-owner of the publishing press, Fierce Ink Press, and Amy from Amy Reads. It was a good night, and I’m happy to have met Kat to have a physical copy of the book!
