Here at Escape Through the Pages I will occasionally offer book giveaways/contests. Please read the following policy before entering any giveaway.
The following apply to all contests/giveaways:
– all participants must be 13 years of age or older
– all rules in the contest/giveaway post must be followed
– duplicate entries will be deleted
– e-mail address must be included with all entries
– once contacted by e-mail you have only 48 hours to reply with a valid mailing address
Now to be more specific. Since the majority of the contests are paid for by myself, there are a few simple stipulations:
If a contest does not apply for your country, you may enter if you can provide the shipping costs (paypal). This does not apply for third-party offers (ex. shipped from publishers or authors).
All international giveaways are provided due to The Book Depository. Once ordered I am not liable for shipping or anything being lost in the mail. I’m sorry, but there will be no re-orders.
For third-party offers: once your mailing information is confidentially passed to the publisher/author/etc. it is out of my hands. I am not responsible for the shipping, time period, or it being lost in the mail. I will contact the third-party once on your behalf, but after that, I apologize – there is not much else I can do.
Any books shipped out by myself will be shipped within one week of me obtaining your mailing address. Once sent I am not liable for anything that gets lost due to the postal system. I’m sorry, but there will be no re-sends.
All e-mail addresses and shipping addresses will be deleted once no longer needed.
